Job Description

Category Schools - OT - Telehealth Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based virtual services. This role supports two elementary schools serving grades K-4 and 5-6, delivering telehealth and teletherapy interventions within a structured educational environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing virtual occupational therapy evaluations, treatment, and progress monitoring for students Collaborating with educators and multidisciplinary teams to support Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and implementation Conducting Medicaid billing in compliance with program requirements Maintaining accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions Qualifications and experience desired: Valid Occupational Therapy license eligible for school-based practice Proficiency in telehealth/teletherapy delivery models for pediatric populations Experience working within educational settings, preferably elementary schools Knowledge of Medicaid billing processes related to school-based therapy services Strong communication skills to coordinate with teachers, parents, and school staff This full-time, 40-hour per week contract position offers the flexibility of remote work while providing crucial support to young learners in a school setting. The role focuses on enhancing students' functional skills through virtual occupational therapy designed to meet diverse educational and developmental needs.
