Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make an immediate impact in an educational setting by supporting students as a full-time Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. What you bring:
Current OT or COTA licensure in Rhode Island Previous experience in school-based or healthcare OT/COTA roles preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, educators, and families Flexibility and adaptability when addressing evolving student needs Ability to manage a high-needs caseload with empathy and a problem-solving mindset What you'll do: Provide occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs Develop, implement, and monitor therapy strategies to promote student achievement and independence Collaborate with teachers, administration, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' educational goals Document services, maintain compliance with school and regulatory guidelines Attend meetings, contribute to IEP development and progress reviews Participate in professional development, including on-site safety care training provided for this role Why you'll love this role: The chance to effect real, positive change in students' daily lives A supportive school environment committed to professional growth Hands-on safety care training to enhance your expertise Full-time schedule with consistent hours from start to end of the school year Interviews are being scheduled right away with the director.
