As a school-based Occupational Therapist, your impact will be visible every day—empowering children to overcome challenges and achieve their greatest potential.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current OT licensure for the state of Rhode Island or eligibility to obtain Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred Solid understanding of IEPs, goal setting, and documentation requirements Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with staff and families Energetic, adaptable approach and a genuine interest in supporting student growth
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans tailored to students' needs Deliver direct and consultative OT services in accordance with IEPs Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents regarding intervention strategies Document services, progress, and outcomes in compliance with school and state standards Contribute insights to multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings Provide education and resources to staff and families to enhance student outcomes This contract position offers an engaging school environment where every day brings new opportunities to inspire student success.
