Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist supporting early learners through essential developmental milestones. This position is designed to cover a maternity leave, running from December 1st through March 24th, with a structured four-day workweek—7.5 hours each day—allowing for meaningful professional engagement balanced with personal time.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate as a valued member of the Early Learning Assessment Team. Conduct comprehensive evaluations for preschool-aged students. Prepare and submit detailed evaluation reports to guide student support strategies. Interact with students, families, and educational staff to foster a positive learning environment. Adhere to best practices in pediatric occupational therapy within the school setting.
Desired Qualifications:
Current and active SC LLR Occupational Therapy credential (required to begin work). Experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy settings preferred. Skilled at conducting assessments and delivering written evaluation reports. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset for interdisciplinary teamwork. Available for in-person work throughout the contract period, with consistent onsite presence.
