- Employee appreciation events throughout the year Position Summary We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR) to provide high-quality, patient-centered therapy services. This role includes evaluation, treatment planning, team collaboration, and supervision of therapy staff, all focused on improving residents' independence and quality of life. Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents within required timeframes and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy services per physician orders and established goals
- Document evaluations, treatments, and progress notes in compliance with regulations
- Supervise COTAs, aides, and students in accordance with state practice act
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on care planning and patient progress
- Participate in care conferences, utilization reviews, and rehab meetings
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy programs and discharge plans
- Assist with durable medical equipment (DME) recommendations
- Provide staff training and participate in in-services
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and payer requirements Qualifications
- Degree in Occupational Therapy (Bachelor's required; Master's or Doctorate preferred)
- Active South Carolina Occupational Therapist (OTR) license in good standing
- Experience in skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred
- Familiarity with PointClickCare and Casamba preferred
