Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact by supporting students' growth and development as a contract Occupational Therapist based near Chesterfield, SC. In this rewarding school-based position, you'll work full time (37-40 hours per week, Monday to Friday) from July 22, 2026, to May 28, 2027, delivering specialized OT services across a variety of school sites. Your expertise will help students aged 3K through 12th grade reach their fullest potential, providing interventions, evaluations, and consultation to address a diverse range of abilities.
Skills and Experience:
Must hold (or be eligible for) South Carolina state licensure as an Occupational Therapist Experience working within school settings preferred Knowledge of best practices for delivering OT services to children and adolescents Comfortable serving a wide age range from preschool through high school students Proficient in developing and implementing IEPs, conducting screenings and assessments Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to travel between multiple school sites in the Chesterfield region as needed
Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy interventions to students individually and in group settings Conduct screenings, evaluations, and progress monitoring for students across varying ability levels Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student success Offer consultation and training to school personnel regarding sensory, motor, and adaptive strategies Maintain timely and accurate documentation of services If you have a passion for empowering students and thrive in diverse educational environments, this role could be the perfect fit.
