$10,000 Sign-On Bonus Available! McLeod Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our Pediatric Rehabilitation team in Florence, SC. In this role, you will provide evaluation, treatment, and ongoing therapy services to pediatric patients with developmental, neurological, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and functional impairments. You will play a vital role in helping children achieve greater independence and improve their quality of life through individualized therapy interventions.

$10,000 with a 2-year commitment Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations using patient history, observation, and objective measurements. Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's unique therapeutic and learning needs. Establish measurable functional goals and communicate treatment plans with patients and family members. Provide occupational therapy interventions for a variety of developmental, neurological, musculoskeletal, and physical impairments. Document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, re-evaluations, charges, and discharge summaries in accordance with departmental and hospital guidelines. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and communicate treatment progress. Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in patient caseload. Supervise assigned treatment teams and provide guidance and support to Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs). Participate in professional development activities, competency training, mentorship opportunities, departmental meetings, and performance improvement initiatives. Maintain a safe, organized, and clean treatment environment while adhering to health and safety standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Licensure & Certifications Active South Carolina Occupational Therapy License Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) Certification through the American Heart Association Current certification and good standing with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) Why McLeod Health?
