Job Description

Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Valid state Occupational Therapy license (or eligibility to obtain) School-based experience preferred, but strong new graduates encouraged to apply Understanding of IEP process and special education procedures Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, staff, and families Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans Excellent organizational and documentation abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Evaluate students to identify needs related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living tasks Develop and execute specialized treatment plans tailored to student goals within the educational setting Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Document and track student progress, maintaining accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements Provide training, resources, and support to teachers and caregivers regarding best practices for student success Promote inclusive and accessible classroom participation for all students
