This contract position offers both onsite and virtual service options, providing the flexibility to match your preferred working style. Work full-time, Monday through Friday, during regular school hours from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. The assignment starts as soon as possible and extends through the full academic year until May 21, 2027. What youll bring to this role: Active license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of South Carolina Experience in school settings, with an understanding of teletherapy and onsite occupational therapy services Ability to evaluate and implement individualized treatment plans for K-8 students Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and school support staff Comfort working independently, as well as contributing to a multidisciplinary team Key responsibilities will include: Providing comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions to support students educational goals Delivering services both onsite and via teletherapy, adjusting approaches based on student needs and school policies Participating in IEP meetings, documentation, and progress reporting aligned with district and state guidelines Partnering with teachers and families to ensure optimal learning environments and student success Managing a consistent caseload within one public charter school across a diverse student population By taking on this role, you'll have the chance to make a meaningful difference in students development and experience the satisfaction of contributing to a supportive educational settingall while working a full school year schedule.
