Job Description

This position evaluates and treats individuals whose ability to perform daily functional tasks is threatened or impaired by developmental deficits as well as other dysfunctions. You will be working with the hand and upper extremity in an outpatient setting. Our therapeutic goal is to prevent, diminish or correct dysfunctions and/or impairments and to develop, restore and maximize daily functional skills and independence. We are looking for someone who is CHT or wishes to sit for CHT. OT Responsibilities and Duties (include but not limited to) Consult with patients to learn about their physical condition; Develop a treatment plan; Teach patients how to properly do exercise techniques; Develop realistic short term and long term goals; Use equipment and devices to assist patients; Maintain patient records, keeping track of goals and progress; Advise patient about in-home exercises
