Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Soliant has partnered with a large school district in Columbia, SC, and is seeking a contract Occupational Therapist for the 26-27 school year. Applicants will be covering 2-3 sites, and manage caseloads of approximately 50 students.
Requirements:
South Carolina OT license Previous schools or pediatrics experience strongly preferred Pay and benefits: Hourly, W2 pay of $45 to $50/hr Health, vision and dental insurance Employer matched 401(k) As a school-based Occupational Therapist, the candidate will: Evaluate newly referred students and conduct periodic assessments of current students Determine if new students are eligible for services; write reports to communicate findings to staff and families Develop a therapy plan and IEP goals in accordance with evaluation results Consult with teachers, parents, other staff members and private based medical professionals Manage and make minor repairs to various OT equipment and supplies Ensure compliant documentation of treatment logs and student progress With 15 years of experience in the education staffing field, Soliant recruiters pride themselves on building strong relationships, and finding job opportunities that advance your career and financial goals.
