Job Description

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current licensure and certification as an Occupational Therapist Graduate degree from an accredited OT program required Prior experience in pediatric or school-based occupational therapy setting is highly valued Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills Ability to develop and adapt interventions tailored to individual student needs Competence with evaluation tools and documentation practices relevant to school
OT Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to identify students' needs related to fine motor skills, self-care, sensory processing, and classroom participation Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to foster attainment of educational goals Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate occupational therapy in students' daily routines Document progress and maintain compliance with school and federal regulations Deliver direct therapy, consultative services, and recommendations for classroom modifications or adaptive equipment as needed Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights for student support
