Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. In this role, you will evaluate, plan, and implement individualized occupational therapy programs to enhance patients' functional independence across diverse settings. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of physiology and anatomy, along with experience working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, disabilities, and those requiring post-acute care. Your expertise will support clients in achieving their rehabilitation goals, improving daily living skills, and promoting overall well-being through evidence-based practices. Pay:

$2485.84/weekly gross, $31.00/hr, $46.50/OT, $1246 per diem Patient Age group: All ages; primarily adults and older adults, with pediatric patients possible

Number of Beds:

11 acute-care beds; facility also provides swing-bed/skilled care

Ratios:

Caseload-based; no fixed OT-to-patient ratio. Mix of inpatient, outpatient, and swing-bed patients

Minimum Experience:

New graduate OT may be considered; hospital/acute care, outpatient, or geriatric experience preferred

Ventilators:

N/A Drips/Machine experience: N/A; standard inpatient/outpatient rehab equipment, ADL equipment, transfer equipment, wheelchairs, walkers, splinting/orthotic supplies

Common Diagnosis:

Stroke/CVA, orthopedic conditions, fractures, joint replacement, post-surgical conditions, generalized weakness/deconditioning, neurological conditions, arthritis, upper-extremity injuries, balance/functional deficits, and chronic conditions

Required Certs:

Active South Dakota OT license; CPR/BLS typically required
