Employee discounts •Eligibility based on location Responsibilities Develop and implement goal-directed treatment plans for assigned patients utilizing in-depth evaluation and physician orders
Establish realistic, objective functional goals based on patient/caregiver goals and overall discharge plan
Supervise Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants, Rehabilitation Technicians, OT students, and OTA students on a routine basis
Educate patients/caregivers on occupational therapy services, treatment procedures, and treatment goals
Prepare for client discharge in a timely, thorough manner, including patient/caregiver education, home visit, recommendations for home modifications and equipment needs, and procurement of recommended equipment
Maintain a working knowledge of and adherence to Occupational Therapy Practice Act and Code of Ethics
Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications B.S. or M.S. degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution or
B.S./M.S.
degree in related field with an Occupational Therapy certification from an accredited institution
Current license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Texas required
Current CPR certification required
