Take on a unique contract opportunity in the Beaumont, TX area and bring your expertise as an Orientation and Mobility Specialist to students in a school setting. This onsite position allows you to provide targeted support to students with visual impairments, helping them gain confidence and independence in their daily routines. In this role, you will work directly with two students: One student requires 60 minutes of service every 9 weeks. A second student needs 30-minute sessions, 8 times per 9 weeks. Your focused guidance and skilled intervention will empower these students to navigate their environments safely and effectively.

Qualifications:

Current Orientation and Mobility Specialist certification Licensed to practice in Texas for school-based settings Strong communication and collaboration abilities Experience developing and implementing individualized plans for students with visual impairments, preferred Commitment to fostering independence and self-advocacy in students

Key Responsibilities:
