Key Qualifications:

Possession of an active Occupational Therapist (OTR) license issued by the Texas Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners (ECPTOTE) Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued Strong communication and collaboration capabilities for working with educators, staff, and families Exceptional organizational skills for managing varying student needs and documentation Passion for helping students succeed and grow within the school environment

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct and consultative OT services to a caseload of 4560 students with varying support minutes Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to implement interventions and monitor progress Maintain timely, accurate documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a multi-disciplinary support team for students Stay current with best practices and therapy techniques for school-based
