Qualifications:

Active OMS Certification required AVCREP Certification or comparable credential required Previous experience with school-aged children/young adults preferred Ability to complete Texas fingerprint credentialing swiftly (if not already registered) Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

Provide orientation and mobility assessments and services to students with visual impairments across multiple district locations (specific schools to be determined) Develop and implement individualized orientation and mobility instruction plans Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to create safe learning environments Maintain clear documentation of student progress and ensure compliance with state and district guidelines Offer expertise to staff regarding best practices in orientation and mobility training
