r42054-76036 Job Description School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) Crowley Independent School District in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist for a full-time, onsite contract position during the 20262027 school year. This opportunity offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The selected OT will support students across grades K12 based on district needs. The anticipated caseload is approximately 4560 students, depending on service minutes and student requirements.

Responsibilities:

Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services Support students with fine motor, sensory, visual-motor, and functional school-based skills Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary school teams Participate in IEP meetings and assist with developing appropriate student goals Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans when necessary Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and required school records Follow all district, state, and professional guidelines for occupational therapy services

Experience:

Previous school-based or pediatric occupational therapy experience preferred Experience supporting students across multiple grade levels is preferred Experience managing a diverse K12 caseload is beneficial

Education & Licensure:

Active Texas Occupational Therapist license required Must be licensed as an Occupational Therapist Registered through the Texas Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners Masters degree in Occupational Therapy or an equivalent qualifying degree required
