Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role where your expertise in Occupational Therapy can make a lasting difference for students across multiple school sites near Cypress, TX. This contract position offers an engaging blend of challenge and fulfillment, supporting diverse learners and collaborating with caring educational teams. You'll work a full-time schedule of four days per week, providing 30 hours of meaningful service each week during the school year. Your well-rounded OT skills will have a significant impact, helping students overcome barriers so they can thrive academically and socially. The varied school settings keep every day fresh and exciting, giving you the opportunity to adapt your approach and grow as a professional. Qualifications & Experience Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with active and valid credentials Prior experience in school-based or pediatric OT preferred Strong communication abilities for effective collaboration with teachers, staff, and families Adaptable and organized, with the ability to manage multiple caseloads across different school sites Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for students of all abilities Key Responsibilities Assess the unique needs of students referred for occupational therapy services Develop and implement creative, individualized intervention plans Provide direct therapy and consultative support to help students achieve IEP/504 goals Maintain accurate and timely session documentation Participate in evaluation meetings, IEP teams, and interdisciplinary planning Travel between multiple campuses within the district This is a fantastic opportunity to broaden your experience, make meaningful connections, and empower students in their educational journeys.
