Key Responsibilities:
Conduct patient assessments following physician orders and design individualized occupational therapy plans. Implement treatment based on assessments, with proactive engagement in patient/family education and discharge planning. Foster a safety-first environment by rigorously following protocols for patient and employee safety, including infection control and safe material handling. Document evaluations, daily progress, and treatment plans precisely per department standards. Collaborate in interdisciplinary team processes, actively participating in team meetings and conferences. Supervise and mentor Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants, OT/COTA students, and assist with onboarding new team members. Uphold standards of appearance, punctuality, and professional conduct. Exhibit superior quality, results orientation, customer service, and team spirit in every interaction.Desired Experience and Skills:
Valid license to practice Occupational Therapy. Previous hospital-based therapy experience preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Dedication to continuous quality improvement and patient safety.Perks & Benefits:
