Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Take on an exciting opportunity supporting K-8 students as a contract Occupational Therapist for the upcoming school year. Shape students' growth in educational environments by delivering vital OT services across two school campuses, focusing exclusively on occupational therapy duties during your 37.5-hour full-time workweek. This assignment spans from August 11, 2026 to May 21, 2027, offering a structured schedule with guaranteed weekly hours and no obligations for duties outside of your specialty—so your focus stays on direct and indirect OT interventions.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Familiarity with K-8 student populations and related OT needs Strong communication and collaborative skills to engage with students, educators, and families Ability to manage a consistent caseload across multiple school sites
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver both direct and consultative OT services to elementary and middle school students Assess students' needs and develop tailored treatment plans to support IEP goals Document sessions and communicate student progress according to district and professional guidelines Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster student participation and skill development within the classroom Travel between assigned campuses within the contracted hours
