Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapy (OT) license Hospital therapy experience strongly preferred Demonstrated knowledge in safe patient handling and infection control Experience supervising therapy assistants and students is a plus Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Assess patients' functional levels and develop appropriate individualized treatment plans Implement effective, results-oriented therapy interventions Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and discharge planning Supervise and mentor Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and students Maintain rigorous documentation in accordance with department standards Uphold environment and patient safety priorities at all times Educate patients and families on care, adaptive equipment, and discharge processes Model continuous quality improvement and customer service ethos
