We specialize in early and functional communication, AAC evaluation and implementation, fluency, and speech sound disorders — and we are now growing to include occupational therapy services. We're looking for the right person to build that with us. The Opportunity This is a part-time, W-2 position for a licensed occupational therapist who is ready to work with children in a small, intentional, family-centered practice. We are building this caseload from the ground up — which means hours will start light as evaluations are completed, initial appointments are scheduled, and recurring clients are established. This role grows with the practice, and our intention is for it to grow all the way. We are anticipating active client services to begin in January 2027. Prior to that, there may be opportunities for compensated consultation — helping shape the space for OT, advising on materials and equipment, and laying the groundwork for a strong launch. We want the right person involved from the beginning, not just handed a room on day one. What You'll Do Conduct occupational therapy evaluations for pediatric clients Provide direct therapy services in the areas of fine motor development, sensory regulation, handwriting, daily living skills, and self-feeding Collaborate closely with our speech-language pathologist for integrated, family-centered care Maintain timely, thorough clinical documentation Participate in treatment reviews and family coaching as appropriate Schedule This is an in-person position based at our Georgetown Square location. We offer scheduling across at least three days per week, with a mix of afternoon and evening availability so families with different schedules can be served. Exact days are built collaboratively with the right candidate. We ask that sessions not be scheduled during the following times, which are reserved for our group programming: Mondays 3:30-4:30 PM Wednesdays 11:30 AM-12:00 PM Saturday mornings until 12:00 PM Outside of those windows, we'll work together to build a schedule that serves your families and fits your life. Hours & Growth Hours will begin very light — closer to per diem — while the caseload is being established. From there, the role is designed to grow to approximately 10 hours per week, and eventually up to 20 hours as demand warrants. We're building something from the ground up and want the right person to grow with us. Long term, we see a path to full-time for the right fit. Qualifications Required:

Active Texas Occupational Therapy license NBCOT certification in good standing Experience working with pediatric populations

Preferred:

Experience in fine motor development, sensory integration, or handwriting intervention (e.g., Handwriting Without Tears) Background in school-based OT or early intervention Comfort working in a small, independent practice setting Who Thrives Here We are especially well-suited for therapists who are transitioning from a school-based setting into private practice, or who are returning to clinical work after a career pause and want a role that meets them where they are.
