Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Support student growth and independence as a contract Occupational Therapist working with K-8th grade learners in a dynamic educational environment. Collaborate with teams across two engaging campuses and play an essential role in shaping positive outcomes for the 2026-2027 school year.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of Texas or eligibility for Texas licensure Prior experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred Ability to work effectively with students from kindergarten through 8th grade Strong assessment, planning, and documentation skills Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for collaboration with educators, families, and students Commitment to fostering student success in academic and functional skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and indirect OT services based on IEPs and student needs Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations; develop goal-oriented treatment plans Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families to support student participation and achievement Maintain thorough and timely documentation Manage workload efficiently while supporting both campuses as scheduled Participate in IEP meetings and offer professional input in goal development Focus solely on contracted hours with no additional non-therapy duties (bus duty, parent pickup, etc.)
