Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity as an Occupational Therapist supporting students across multiple campuses near Katy, TX. This full-time contract role spans four days a week, totaling 30 hours, and provides a diverse and stimulating environment for those passionate about helping young learners succeed. In this role, you'll have the chance to apply your expertise in school-based occupational therapy, making a significant, positive difference in the daily lives of children and collaborating closely with dedicated educators and staff.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapist license in Texas Previous experience in a school setting or strong interest in pediatric/school-based OT Skilled in assessment, development, and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) Ability to manage a caseload across multiple school campuses Excellent communication skills for working with students, families, and school personnel Strong organizational abilities and flexibility with scheduling and travel between schools Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students' motor skills and functional abilities to support academic achievement Develop and monitor individualized therapy plans in collaboration with teachers and staff Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students in accordance with IEPs Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings Offer expert guidance and training to school staff and families on best practices for student success Adapt interventions and supports to meet a wide range of student needs across different school settings This position offers a chance to be an impactful part of a student's educational journey while working in a dynamic and supportive setting.
