Champion Rehabilitation and Support Services PLLC is an interdisciplinary therapy company that specializes in speech language pathology, occupational therapy, and physical therapy services for adults and children. Champion aims to provide accessible and quality therapy services to individuals within the DFW metroplex. We have a Plano and Ft. Worth location and provide community based care in addition to office-based services. Champion is an equal opportunity employer.
Position:
Occupational Therapist Clinical Consultant We are looking to fill an immediate need for a licensed OT interested in working with adults and children for program development across multiple settings. Program competencies for insurance-based care, state education and disability programs, and early childhood interventions is highly preferred. Job Description:
An Occupational Therapist is needed to plan and administer treatment programs to assist adult patients with mental, emotional, and physical disabilities by planning and administering medically prescribed occupational therapy.
Responsibilities:
Meets the patient's goals and needs and provides quality care by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results; determining occupational therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians or by prescription. Helps patient develop or regain physical or mental functioning or adjust to disabilities by implementing programs involving practice in functional, prevocational, and vocational skills. Role may require supervision of New Grads and/or Occupational Therapy Assistant team members. Promotes maximum independence by selecting and constructing therapies according to individual's physical capacity, intelligence level, and interest. Assures continuation of therapeutic plan following discharge by designing and instructing patients, families, and caregivers in home exercise program. Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records. Maintains patient confidence by keeping information confidential.
Requirements:
Currently licensed as an Occupational Therapist in Texas Current CPR Minimum 1-2 years of experience required Leadership/Program Development experience preferred Comfortable working autonomously and without significant direction Eligible to supervise COTAs Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $97,000.00 per year
