Key Responsibilities Deliver client-centered, evidence-based care throughout the therapy process including evaluations, interventions, re-evaluations, and discharge planning. Supervise and mentor Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs). Guide and coach clinical students and volunteers during their placements. Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Participate in department growth through in-service training, case reviews, and program development. Stay current with research and innovations in pediatric occupational therapy. Comply with all legal, professional, and ethical requirements as outlined by the State of Texas and AOTA. Assist in community outreach and education initiatives as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualification and Skill Requirements Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent. Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Texas. Pediatric experience preferred, but not required. High ethical standards and a client-first mindset. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong collaboration skills for working in interdisciplinary settings. High school diploma or equivalent required. Physical Requirements Extensive standing, walking, bending, reaching, and kneeling throughout the day. Participation in physical and play-based therapy sessions, including lifting or positioning clients. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
