Key Qualifications:

Current Occupational Therapist (OTR) license issued by the Texas Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners (ECPTOTE) Experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt therapy techniques for a diverse range of student needs across various grade levels Organizational skills to manage documentation and track progress for a caseload of approximately 4560 students

Responsibilities:

Provide occupational therapy evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions for students in grades K12 Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals and progress Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in compliance with school and regulatory requirements Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal setting Offer guidance to school staff on accommodations and strategies to improve student engagement and success in the classroom This assignment offers a consistent full-time schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm, and the opportunity to serve as a clinical leader for a varied and meaningful caseload.
