Environmental Demands:
Hospital patient rooms and whirlpool room. 2.
Essential Physical and Cognitive Demands, Manual Dexterity:
Moderate physical demands requiring lifting and positioning patients. Manual dexterity required to fulfill occupational therapy duties. Ability to work with people who are upset and in pain. This individual must also demonstrate customer and employee sensitivity appropriate to the situation.

C. JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES
Demonstrates the required job specific technical/professional knowledge, skills and abilities. • 1. Administers direct care to assigned patients. Performs Occupational Therapy evaluations, sets goals with patients, families and physicians, administers therapeutic treatment and performs assessments according to departmental Policy and Procedure. Plans and implements patient treatments according to Occupational Therapy standards of practice. 2. Re-evaluate and modify plan at specific intervals. Treat patients and guide individual patients in selection of appropriate activities. 3. Prepare written documentation as required by the department, such as evaluation results, individualized treatment plans, progress reports and other such reports. 4. Communicates observations, facts and comments with interdisciplinary team members. 5. Adheres to all terms of contract Document on addendum age specific competency.
