Role Overview:
As an Occupational Therapist at BrightStar Care, you will be responsible for providing exceptional therapeutic services to clients in their homes and facilities throughout the Richardson, Texas area. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our team to enhance the quality of life for clients by promoting health and wellness through rehabilitative care. Whether you work on-site, you'll have the flexibility to manage your schedule while making a meaningful impact in the lives of your clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop tailored treatment plans to address clients' needs. Implement therapy programs to promote maximum independence and quality of life. Document client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Educate clients and their families on therapeutic practices and home exercises. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and continuity of services.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills. Valid state occupational therapist license. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in home health or rehabilitative settings is preferred. Proficient in documentation and using mobile technology for reporting. Ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor.
Bonus If You:
Have specialty training in areas such as pediatrics, geriatrics, or neurological rehabilitation. Hold additional certifications in therapy practices.
Employment Type & Availability:
This position is Full-Time, available Monday through Friday.
Location:
This position is on-site only in Richardson, Texas.
