At Liberty Rehabilitation Specialists in San Antonio, TX , we are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist with a passion for hand and upper extremity rehabilitation to join our North East clinic. You will treat patients one-on-one in 40-minute appointments , work with a wide range of post-surgical, traumatic, and chronic upper extremity conditions, and have the autonomy to provide individualized care based on what each patient actually needs. You will have 40-minute appointments that allow you to evaluate, treat, and progress patients intentionally. Clinical autonomy. What You Will Do As our Occupational Therapist / Hand Therapist, you will: Perform comprehensive Occupational Therapy evaluations Develop individualized treatment plans for hand and upper extremity patients Treat post-surgical, trauma, repetitive-use, and chronic conditions Provide expert hand therapy and custom splinting Help patients restore mobility, strength, function, and independence Collaborate with physicians and other members of the rehabilitation team Educate patients on their condition, recovery, and long-term management Contribute to clinical knowledge-sharing and team development Provide leadership and supervision when needed Who We Are Looking For We would love to meet an Occupational Therapist who: Holds a current Occupational Therapy license Has experience treating hand and upper extremity conditions Has approximately 2-5 years of clinical experience Demonstrates strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills Is comfortable with splinting and orthopedic hand rehabilitation Values collaboration, communication, and patient-first care Wants to become an important part of an established rehabilitation team Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credentials are preferred, but we are open to experienced Occupational Therapists with a strong hand therapy background. Exceptional newer clinicians with significant hand therapy experience may also be considered.
