1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an Inpatient Rehab unit, requiring basic inpatient rehab knowledge and BLS certification. Details Inpatient rehabilitation unit with 32 beds Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Team includes about 8 OTs, 8 PTs, 1 rehab aide, 7 nurses, 3 PCTs, and 1 unit coordinator on day shift Expected treatment load of 5-6 hours per patient per day Equipment used includes H200/L300 and BURT devices Meditech EMR used Floating to other inpatient rehab units within the facility possible Minimum of 2 weekend shifts required per 4-week period Requirements Active OT license required if applicable BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred Basic knowledge of inpatient rehab required Previous experience in inpatient rehab preferred Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Must be willing to work weekends Additional Information Responsibilities include ADLs, evaluations, and standard inpatient rehab treatments Outgoing, flexible, and knowledgeable candidates fit best with the team culture Dress code includes black pants and olive scrub top Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
