Work Environment This position is based onsite at our outpatient office in Texarkana, Texas. Our clinic is equipped with the latest technology and tools designed to enhance therapy outcomes. You will work Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life. We maintain an open and welcoming environment that fosters collaboration among healthcare professionals while ensuring patient comfort and engagement. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patients' abilities and needs, developing individualized treatment plans to enhance their functional abilities. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques and modalities to facilitate patient recovery, offering support in both physical and emotional aspects of rehabilitation. Maintain precise and comprehensive documentation of patient assessments, therapy sessions, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards. Collaborate with physical therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to create an Integrated Treatment Plan that addresses the holistic needs of each patient. Monitor and assess patient progress regularly, modifying treatment plans as necessary to promote optimal outcomes. Educate and involve family members in the therapeutic process, ensuring they understand the treatment goals and techniques that can be utilized at home. Efficiently navigate electronic medical record systems and ensure timely completion of all necessary clinical documentation. Contribute to team meetings by sharing insights on patient care and collaborative approaches to enhance treatment efficacy. Stay abreast of advancements in occupational therapy practices and participate in continuing education to enhance professional competence. Engage in creative problem-solving approaches to therapy, demonstrating flexibility and innovation in treatment methods. Perform additional clinical-related responsibilities as assigned by the management team. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will primarily engage with adult patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation, and various physical injuries. Our patient volume allows you to provide quality care, averaging 1 to 2 patients per hour, resulting in meaningful interactions that foster trust and support. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing the quality of life for individuals striving to regain functionality and independence. Qualifications A current Occupational Therapy license in good standing is required. A Master's degree or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution is mandatory. Demonstrated experience providing occupational therapy services, ideally in an orthopedic outpatient environment. Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality effectively. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills to foster a collaborative workplace. Willingness to receive and give constructive feedback in a supportive clinical environment. Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and resourcefulness in clinical practice. Preferred Experience Experience in outpatient therapeutic settings, particularly with orthopedic rehabilitation. Familiarity with electronic health record systems and clinical documentation practices. Background working in multidisciplinary teams, contributing to integrated patient care. Compensation and Benefits True Fit Sports Therapy offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a robust benefits package.
