Occupational Therapist (OT) - Full Time & Per Diem AVIR at Victoria 1301 Mallette Drive, Victoria, TX 77901 Join Our Rehabilitation Team! AVIR at Victoria is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our in-house rehabilitation team. We are hiring for both Full-Time and Per Diem opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity for an OT who enjoys providing patient-centered care and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to help residents improve their functional abilities, independence, and quality of life. Position Responsibilities Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans. Provide skilled occupational therapy services based on residents' needs, goals, and plan of care. Provide therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living, strength, coordination, balance, fine motor skills, and functional independence. Monitor residents' progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate. Educate residents and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, safety, adaptive strategies, and home exercise programs. Collaborate with COTAs, PTs, PTAs, SLPs, nursing staff, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team. Participate in care planning and communicate residents' progress and needs to the appropriate team members. Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation. Maintain compliance with facility, state, and federal regulations. Qualifications Current Texas Occupational Therapist (OT) license in good standing. Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program. Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills. Experience in skilled nursing, subacute rehabilitation, or a similar setting is preferred. Compassionate and resident-focused approach to care. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
