This contract opportunity allows you to work onsite with a focused caseload, providing essential instruction and support to students who are visually impaired. Key Qualifications:

Valid Orientation and Mobility Specialist license Current authorization to practice in Texas schools Experience working with students in educational settings is highly desirable Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Commitment to fostering growth and independence in students

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver targeted orientation and mobility instruction to students based on individualized education plans Provide 60 minutes of service per 9 weeks for one student, and 30 minutes of service 8 times per 9 weeks for a second student Assess student needs and progress, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet learning goals Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to support each students unique needs Maintain accurate records and ongoing documentation in compliance with district and state requirements Foster a safe, encouraging environment for student learning and skill-building
