1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Inpatient Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of experience and a Texas OT license for a hospital rehabilitation unit in Waco, TX. Details Inpatient occupational therapy/rehabilitation setting 5x8 schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM AM shift 13-week assignment Located in the Central Texas Region Requirements Active Texas OT license required, if applicable Current BLS certification (AHA only) required Minimum 1 year of inpatient occupational therapy experience required Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience or Master's degree with less than 1 year of experience Mandatory flu shot with no exemptions granted Additional Information Evaluate, treat, and monitor patients while modifying therapy programs and goals as needed Perform thorough and timely clinical documentation and accurate charge entry Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team Provide education to patients, families, and staff Supervise support staff, students, and volunteers Black scrubs required Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
