About Us Legendary Pediatric Therapy has been around for over a decade, but ownership recently transitioned. As the new owners of the clinic, our top priority is our team. We believe that if we take care of our amazing therapists and staff, they will be better equipped to take care of our patients. If our team ever feels that pit in their stomach on Sunday evening knowing they "have" to go to work the next day, we are failing. Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our wonderful team. This role is essential in providing high-quality therapeutic services not only to patients, but also to their families through coaching and involvement. The Occupational Therapist will focus on enhancing the quality of life for children by promoting independence and improving their ability to perform daily activities. Duties Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care and effective goal setting. Utilize medical terminology effectively when documenting patient progress and treatment outcomes. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding care strategies and home modifications. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes. Maintain accurate records of patient treatments, progress notes, and discharge summaries. Spend time researching to ensure evidence-based practices are always being used. Pay:
From $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
