Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity where your expertise as a School Occupational Therapist can make a lasting impact! You'll play a key role in empowering children and collaborating with dedicated educators and families.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly preferred Knowledge of IEP processes and best practices for supporting diverse learners Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative skills Ability to adapt OT interventions to a range of student needs and classroom environments Dedication to fostering independence and functional skills in children
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive OT assessments for referred students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals Document progress and maintain meticulous student records to ensure compliance Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations Provide direct therapy services both individually and in small groups Offer training and resources to staff for classroom-based interventions This contract position allows you to make a daily difference while enjoying a flexible work arrangement.
