Autism Centers of Utah - Sandy, UT | Part-Time | Clinic Setting | Urgently Hiring About Us Autism Centers of Utah is seeking an experienced and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our growing multidisciplinary team in Sandy, Utah. This role focuses on helping children develop the skills necessary to improve independence, participate in daily activities, and reach their full potential. You will work closely with BCBAs, Speech-Language Pathologists, RBTs, and families to provide high-quality, evidence-based care in a collaborative clinic setting. This is a high-impact clinical role with mentorship responsibilities and room to shape program design and clinical pathways in our clinic.
Occupational Therapist Key Responsibilities:
Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals. Provide direct occupational therapy services using evidence-based interventions. Develop and implement functional programming that promotes independence in activities of daily living (ADLs), school readiness, sensory regulation, and life skills. Monitor client progress and maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation. Supervise and mentor Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs) while ensuring quality and consistency of care. Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary team members, and participate in team huddles, family meetings, and transition planning.
Occupational Therapist Qualifications:
Licensed Occupational Therapist in Utah (DOPL) or in-process for Utah licensure. Entry-level master's/OTD or equivalent and NBCOT (or eligibility/verification). Comfortable supervising OTAs and students; strong communicator and family-facing. Experience in pediatrics, school-based services, or neuro/rehab preferred. Reliable, organized, and committed to clinical excellence.
