The Role Position :

Full Time Pediatric OT (W2 employee)

Location :

In-person sessions in Alexandria, VA (Old Town), We have an AWESOME office location that is steps away from the best coffee shops and restaurants that Old Town has to offer. Walk to the waterfront, check out the views from a rooftop restaurant, or grab coffee with a friend after your shift.

Collaboration:

weekly staff meetings, daily consultations, quarterly team outings, co-treats, Christmas party, Halloween event, and more. You'll provide high-quality OT evaluations and treatment for children ages 1-17 in a clinic that values clinical excellence, collaboration, and fun . Responsibilities Assess patients' needs and develop individualized care plans that address their specific goals Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote independence Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care Implement therapeutic interventions for pediatric population, including those with autism Provide intervention services for children and support families through education about treatment plans, exercises, and adaptive equipment Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes Stay current with best practices in occupational therapy through ongoing professional development What We're Looking For Licensed Occupational Therapist 1-2 years pediatric experience required Clinic experience preferred Independent, competent, and comfortable with both evaluations and treatment Knowledge of speech therapy techniques can be beneficial for integrated patient care Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
