The therapist partners with families and the multidisciplinary team to create meaningful, individualized goals. Essential Responsibilities Complete comprehensive pediatric occupational therapy evaluations and reassessments. Develop individualized, measurable treatment plans based on each child's strengths and needs. Provide evidence-based interventions addressing fine-motor, sensory, visual-motor, self-care, and functional participation skills. Monitor progress and update treatment plans, goals, and recommendations as clinically appropriate. Educate parents and caregivers on home strategies, carryover activities, and therapeutic recommendations. Collaborate with SLPs, PTs, BCBAs, physicians, educators, and other members of the care team. Complete accurate, timely, and payer-compliant clinical documentation. Maintain professional licensure, certification, and continuing-education requirements. Required Qualifications Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Active and unrestricted Virginia Occupational Therapy license. Current NBCOT certification. Strong communication, organization, documentation, and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a pediatric outpatient setting. Preferred Qualifications Two or more years of pediatric clinical experience. Experience in an outpatient pediatric clinic. Experience supporting children with autism, developmental delays, sensory needs, or related diagnoses. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply. Employment & Compensation All therapist positions at UE Children's Services begin under the 1099 Independent Contractor model, with no exceptions. Every therapist is required to review and sign a one-year Independent Contractor Agreement when joining the organization. Because our services are insurance-based, therapists must complete all required onboarding, credentialing, and payer enrollment before treating clients. Therapists will begin providing services after credentialing approval and will initially be compensated under the 1099 model based on services rendered. 1099 Independent Contractor -

Compensation is based on each completed patient visit. This option may become available as caseloads, payer participation, and clinic operations continue to grow. Hybrid Salary Model -

Potential Future Option:

A structured base salary combined with productivity expectations and possible additional compensation. This option may become available based on organizational needs, performance, caseload, and mutual agreement. Compensation models beyond the required initial 1099 arrangement are potential future options and are not guaranteed. Availability will depend on clinic growth, payer participation, caseload, performance, organizational needs, and mutual agreement.

Pay:

$65,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
