9667731-22473 Job Description An exciting opportunity awaits for an Occupational Therapist to make an immediate impact working with both public and private schools in the Heathsville, VA area. This contract position is ideal for a dedicated professional looking to support students development in a school-based setting, beginning as soon as possible. In this role, youll provide occupational therapy services across 3 public and 2 private schools, managing a balanced caseload that includes both direct (11 students) and indirect (8 students) services. The schedule offers a flexible opportunity, requiring your expertise on site 2 to 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver occupational therapy services, including makeup sessions for any missed appointments. Offer expert input for IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and complete progress reports as required. Collaborate with school staff, educators, and families to support students goals and overall well-being. Travel among assigned school locations to provide comprehensive services as scheduled.

Desired Qualifications:

Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Virginia. Experience working in elementary and/or secondary school environments (public and/or private). Strong skills in documentation and progress reporting, specifically relating to IEP development. Excellent time management and communication abilities.
