Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of K-12 students as a school-based Occupational Therapist in a rewarding contract position. This opportunity allows you to partner closely with educators, families, and fellow professionals to help students reach their fullest potential academically and functionally.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver both direct and consultative occupational therapy services in alignment with students' Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify strengths and needs Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans to foster student growth Collaborate with teachers, special education personnel, and parents to support educational goals Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure compliance with state and district requirements Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings, offering valuable insight for student goal-setting Address student needs related to fine motor skills, sensory integration, and daily living activities
Qualifications:
Master's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program Active Virginia OT license or eligibility to obtain one NBCOT certification Previous experience in school-based settings is advantageous, though not mandatory Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication abilities
Schedule:
