Desired Experience & Skills:

Licensed Occupational Therapist with eligibility to practice in Virginia Prior experience working in school-based or pediatric settings Strong organizational abilities for managing caseloads and documentation Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teams, families, and students Experience supervising therapy assistants (COTAs) preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct therapy services to K-12 students, tailoring interventions to individual needs Conduct initial and ongoing assessments and generate detailed reports Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans and goals Lead and mentor two COTAs, overseeing quality and consistency in service delivery Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to ensure holistic student care Maintain thorough, timely documentation in compliance with district and regulatory requirements This role offers the chance to work closely with students, help them achieve their potential, and play a pivotal role in an interdisciplinary team.
