Speech Solutions Pediatric Services is a therapist-owned pediatric private practice in Newport News, VA, and we're growing our Occupational Therapy program. We're looking for a pediatric OT who wants to build a caseload that works for YOU . You don't have to commit to 40 hours a week. You don't have to walk into a full caseload on day one. Start with the hours that work for your life and grow your schedule as your caseload grows. Why Speech Solutions? At Speech Solutions, you'll have the opportunity to help build and shape our OT program from the ground up while working alongside an established pediatric speech therapy team. We believe therapy works best when clinicians collaborate—not when they're working in silos. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with SLPs and other pediatric professionals while providing individualized, family-centered care. What We're Offering $55
  • 60/hour based on experience and service type Part-time and PRN opportunities Flexible scheduling No required full-time commitment Opportunity to start with a smaller caseload and increase hours over time Administrative support with scheduling and billing Electronic medical record system Collaborative pediatric therapy environment Opportunity to help develop and shape our growing OT program Potential for increased hours as referrals and caseload grow Supportive, therapist-owned practice Primarily outpatient pediatric services, with opportunities for local daycare/community-based services as appropriate What You'll Do Provide occupational therapy evaluations and treatment to pediatric patients Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals Provide evidence-based, developmentally appropriate interventions Address fine motor, visual-motor, sensory, self-care, and functional skills Provide caregiver education and home programming Document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress, and discharge information Collaborate with SLPs and other professionals when appropriate Communicate effectively with families and caregivers Help contribute to the development and growth of our OT program Our Pediatric Population You'll work with children from infancy through adolescence, including children with: Autism Spectrum Disorder Developmental delays Sensory processing differences Fine motor delays ADHD Down syndrome Feeding concerns Developmental and functional challenges Other pediatric diagnoses
What We're Looking For Required:
Current Virginia Occupational Therapist license or eligibility for Virginia licensure NBCOT certification Strong clinical and communication skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team Reliable transportation
Preferred:
Pediatric occupational therapy experience Outpatient pediatric experience Experience working with children with developmental disabilities Experience with autism, sensory processing, fine motor, or feeding needs New graduates with strong pediatric fieldwork experience are encouraged to apply.
