Qualifications & Experience:

Active and valid Occupational Therapist license in Virginia (or eligibility) Experience working in school-based or pediatric OT settings preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Comfortable collaborating with teachers, families, and other professionals Ability to create and adapt therapy plans for diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct OT services to students in alignment with IEP goals and school protocols Assess student abilities and design custom interventions that support educational success Document progress, maintain accurate and timely records, and contribute to student evaluations Coordinate and communicate regularly with the school staff, COTA, and related service providers Offer consultative support and education to teachers and staff as needed to promote student inclusion Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations
