£50,000 The Role Cpl UK Healthcare are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, working within a specialist Addiction Treatment Service supporting adults aged 18 and over with substance misuse and co-occurring mental health needs. Details This is an excellent opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team delivering person-centred rehabilitation and recovery-focused occupational therapy. You will support individuals to develop the skills, confidence, and independence needed to achieve sustainable recovery and improve their overall wellbeing. Responsibilities Manage a specialist occupational therapy caseload within an addiction treatment service Complete comprehensive functional and occupational therapy assessments Develop and deliver individualised, recovery-focused treatment programmes Facilitate therapeutic groups and one-to-one interventions Support individuals to develop daily living skills, routines, vocational goals, and community engagement Work collaboratively with psychologists, nurses, psychiatrists, recovery workers, and the wider multidisciplinary team Contribute to care planning, risk assessments, and multidisciplinary reviews Maintain accurate clinical documentation and outcome measures Promote recovery, independence, and meaningful occupational engagement Requirements HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist Experience working within mental health, addiction services, or rehabilitation is desirable Knowledge of recovery-focused practice and occupational therapy models Excellent communication, clinical reasoning, and organisational skills Ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team Benefits Competitive salary of £50,000 Opportunity to work within a specialist addiction treatment service Supportive multidisciplinary team environment Ongoing CPD, supervision, and career development opportunities Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on individuals' recovery and long-term wellbeing Applying for roles If you are interested in this position, please get in touch to discuss further opportunities.
