Job Description

Make an impact while enjoying travel opportunities as a contract Occupational Therapist supporting K-12 students in a dynamic, itinerant school setting near Norfolk, VA. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct therapy services and conduct thorough evaluations for a diverse K-12 caseload Participate actively in IEP meetings as an essential member of each student's educational team Collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers to create supportive, individualized plans Travel between multiple schools within the district, adapting practices to various school settings Maintain timely and accurate records in accordance with school and state regulations Ensure compliance with supervision protocols where required
Qualifications & Experience:
Active Virginia Occupational Therapy license (required) Experience in school-based Occupational Therapy (preferred) Ability to work comfortably with students across all grade levels (K-12), addressing a variety of needs Skilled at providing assessments, planning, and implementing individualized treatment Strong communication and collaboration skills, including participation in multidisciplinary meetings Flexibility and organization to manage an itinerant schedule and support multiple locations
