Sheltering Arms Institute is seeking an OT Clinical Leader - Outpatient to join the team. This position will provide coverage at our Bon Air and Short Pump (Main Campus) Centers. The Outpatient Therapy OT Clinical Leader provides quality, comprehensive, patient-centered occupational therapy services including patient examination (ages 13+), development and administration of a treatment plan, documentation and communication with team members, and clinical direction and supervision to licensed/non-licensed personnel. Instructs therapy support staff, students, other team members, and patient and/or caregivers. In addition to clinical responsibilities, serves as a mentor, program leader heavily involved in program development, and knowledge translator. Qualifications and Skills Previous experience in outpatient therapy preferred. At least 3 years' experience with a specialty population of interest. Education/Certifications Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program required. Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited occupational therapy program and/or a specialty practice certification preferred. Virginia licensure to practice or eligibility and application for licensure by the Occupational Therapy Board of the Virginia State Board of Health Professions required. Healthcare professionals CPR certification required. Board certified clinical specialist strongly preferred. Healthcare Professionals CPR required. Compensation $35.88 - $53.04 per hour This range reflects our commitment to pay equity and market‑competitive compensation. Final compensation depends on experience, skills, and internal equity.
