Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Take your career as an Occupational Therapist to the next level by making a tangible difference in the lives of K-12 students. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work closely with a dedicated education team in a dynamic and supportive Virginia school district. Your expertise will help students overcome challenges and thrive both in and out of the classroom.
What You'll Do:
Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services according to IEP requirements Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to tailor support to each student Design and carry out individualized therapy plans aimed at fostering daily living and academic skills Partner with teachers, special education staff, and families to integrate therapy strategies across school environments Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to state and district protocols Participate actively in IEP meetings, sharing insights and collaborating on student goals Address areas such as fine motor development, sensory processing, and functional independence
What We Look For:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy Active Virginia OT license, or eligibility to attain one NBCOT certified occupational therapist Previous experience in a school setting is a plus, though not required Skillful communicator with a commitment to collaboration
Schedule Details:
